I am looking for a PhD student to join my research team at the College of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba, Canada.
I am a health economist who conducts research examining the economic value of novel healthcare interventions. Specifically, my research assesses the cost-effectiveness of new drugs, devices and screening technologies. I also evaluate the impact of health policies, particularly substance use and prescription drug policies using population-based data and quasi-experimental methods.
I am looking for a highly motivated PhD student who has a strong quantitative background, as well as good writing, time-management and organizational skills. Previous experience in data analysis using quantitative methods and proficiency in using a statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS) is required.
If this sounds like you, please reach out to me at shweta.mital@umanitoba.ca with your CV, cover letter and transcripts.
