Dr. Tara Horrill is seeking a graduate student for a part time Research Assistant position within ReACHE Lab.
Hours of Work: 7 to 15 hours weekly (approximately)
The graduate RA will provide support to Dr. Horrill and to the Research Coordinator. Responsibilities may include:
o Assist with developing study documents
o Assist with maintaining ethical approvals
o Assist with qualitative data collection and analysis
o Conduct literature reviews
o Assist with website updates and preparing social media content
o Other relevant research activities as time, interest and skills permit
Graduate Research Assistants will have the opportunity to engage in a collaborative, team-based environment that fosters both research and peer mentorship. The role includes regular interaction with the principal investigator, graduate students, and research staff through activities such as weekly project meetings and monthly lab brown bag sessions. Dedicated office space will be provided. Applicants must be willing to work onsite at the Fort Garry campus. Priority will be given to graduate students with experience in qualitative and/or community-based research methods, particularly those who have worked with equity-seeking populations.
