The Research Coordinator will support research activities and program operations under the leadership of Dr. Lisa Knisley, contributing to the effective and efficient organization functioning of the Translating Emergency Knowledge for Kids (TREKK; trekk.ca) network and the Knowledge Mobilization pillar for Pediatric Outcome ImProvement through COordination of Research Networks (POPCORN; popcornpediatrics.ca). TREKK was founded in 2011 to accelerate the speed at which the latest evidence in children’s emergency care is put into practice within emergency departments across Canada. POPCORN brings together researchers, clinicians, decision-makers, and patient partners to form a pan-Canadian paediatric research platform and answer important questions in maternal and child health. This role involves coordinating research studies, developing and disseminating evidence-based resources, and implementing strategies to engage healthcare providers, families, policy makers, patient partners, and other knowledge users. The Coordinator will also contribute to communications, grant support, and evaluation of impact, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging stakeholders locally and nationally.
